Its not that hard.. She *might* win, so why quit? Something might happen. In most contests, the one in a close 2nd is not asked to surrender mid-game. She's a woman, and she has something to prove. The last woman to run in recent memory, of note, CRIED during her final speech (Patricia Schroeder). This was not received well, generally. Even one of my friends in H.S., at the time, made a political cartoon mocking her for it. Hillary will erase this image indelibly with her valiant primary fight. She is the Iron Lady of American politics right now. She wants power at the convention, and more notably, over the platform. A Universal Healthcare mandate probably serves as the best target for such a play. Its obvious to anyone who can stop parroting the "Democratic Party is destroying itself" dogma that this is AWESOME for the party. The sweep of this national campaign through ALL STATES dwarfs anything the Republicans have managed to muster. The ranks have been replenished. The internet is aflame. It is clear now that major demographic shifts are underway. She is stubborn, and proud, but none of these motivations require her to desire Obama's destruction. It is easy for those afraid that he may not win to think this, however. They do us all us disservice with this fear. |

Filed under: News ![]() In an attempt to foil Microsoft's plans of a flawless NXE Netflix launch, Columbia Pictures (a studio that's owned by Sony) has made sure that its entire Netflix movie catalog is blocked from streaming to the Xbox 360. How rude!
According to Joystiq (and confirmed by MTV Multiplayer) Netflix has pulled all Columbia Pictures content from the Xbox 360 instant view library due to "licensing problems." But, wouldn't you know, all the blocked content can still be viewed online and through all other Netflix enabled TV devices except for the 360. Netflix hopes to license all the currently blocked content to the Xbox 360 in the near future. Now, that just isn't very nice of you Sony, haven't you been taught to share?
